大家好!

金钱创造了贪婪,磨灭了人们心中珍惜自然资源,保护生态环境的良知;对财富的过度迷恋,同样也萌发了自私自利的幼芽。人类对保护自身赖以生存的环境的漠视,是家园遭到迫害,不懂得及时补救挽回的罪魁祸首,对地球的伤害都将演变成对人类自身的伤害。

种类繁多,郁郁葱葱的植物,不仅美化了地球上的山川,也给这个星球的珍惜动物提供了栖息,繁衍的场所。这些植物能给人类带来氧气,给人类带走二氧化碳,为人类提供肥沃的土壤……但是依然有那么一些没有良知的人去破坏宝贵的森林资源。我们曾经学过一篇课文,名叫《一个小村庄的故事》,文章中的村民们不就是为了眼前“不错”的生活,几乎砍光了树木,结果毁坏了家园吗?

水是人类生存不可缺少的必备条件,水又是无可代替的资源。可是不久之后我们将面临严重的缺水问题!因为地上的淡水资源极为有限。中国水资源只占全球水资源的7%,人均水资源只有世界人均量的31%,而且据报道,目前有的地区以有90%的河流污染。所以我们应该树立新的用水观念,做到合理用水,科学用水,节约用水。

在历史的长河中,水之所以能保持它清澈,纯净的本性,离不开世世代代的努力。是祖辈的呵呵,水源才不至于被破坏:是祖辈的不懈努力,水源才不至于被污染。他们保护家园,捍卫纯洁的精神,将在时间长河中闪闪发光,不断提醒人们应该爱护水源,就像尊敬人类的祖先一样。

可怜的地球妈妈啊!她无私地为人类提供宝贵的各种资源,使人类不断的繁衍,使大地生机盎然。但那些无知的人们却在破坏能生存的空间。看啊!地球美丽的蓝衣服,绿衣服不见了,却穿上了枯黄的旧衣服;昔日震耳欲聋的大瀑布不见了,取而代之的却是逐渐枯竭,奄奄一息的小溪!

一、选取适当的主题

1. 结合教学内容选取主题

我在教授《Bill Gates》一文时,结合文章内容,请学生就“The person I admire most”这一主题进行演讲。学生列举了Helen Keller,Nightingale,Beethoven等人物事迹,用英语介绍了自己所敬佩的人。学生学会了以积极的心态面对人生,以包容的心态对待他人。在教到有关环境保护的课文时,我确定“I regret doing sth.”和“I'd like to say goodbye to…”两个主题让学生演讲,倡导绿色生活,引发了学生对环境保护的思考。

2. 根据生活实际选取主题

我在开学时让学生描述自己丰富的假期生活,在清明、端午、中秋等传统节日时,让学生结合PPT介绍节日的特色,帮助学生更好地了解中国传统文化,并学会用英语介绍中国传统节日。在西方感恩节时,我确定了“I'd like to say thanks to…”的主题让学生进行演讲,学生在演讲中表达了对家人、教师、朋友的感激之情。我引导学生根据生活实际,结合时事,用英语表达自己真实的想法。例如,一个学生演讲了“I'd like to say goodbye to wars”,给大家介绍了利比亚动荡的局势,表达了热爱和平之情;一个学生在日本大地震后演讲了“I'd like to say goodbye to disasters”,介绍日本震后情况,表达了希望有能力去预测地震,给人们减少灾难带来的痛苦的愿望;还有个学生讲的是“I'd like to say goodbye to mediocrity”,表达了自己的鸿鹄之志,不想做平庸之辈的积极的人生态度。

3. 结合写话练习选取主题

写话练习对于学生来说有较大难度,教师可以选取恰当的写话主题让学生演讲,既能起到育人作用,同时也能以此提高学生的写话能力。例如,我选用了“An unforgettable thing”“Suggestions on doing sth.”等主题让学生演讲。有的学生描绘了精彩难忘的世博会,有的学生讲了自己学钢琴的经历。学生广开思路,畅所欲言,通过这样的课前演讲,积累了素材,为写话做好了准备。

二、分阶段进行演讲

在第一阶段,我要求学生自己选择主题演讲,凡是自己感兴趣的有意义的内容都可以,准备两分钟的演讲内容,同时可以用PPT辅助讲解。在这个阶段的实践中,我发现学生在演讲时出现了不少问题:第一,主题的选取比较杂乱和浅显,以介绍他们喜爱的歌星、名人居多;第二,对演讲的内容准备不够,有的学生不仅不能脱稿,甚至还没读熟,只是用PPT展示了他要讲的文字;第三,学生展示的图片过多,使自己成了一个图片播放员,没有真正达到锻炼口语的目的;第四,演讲内容太长或太短,不符合要求。

在第二阶段,根据第一阶段的实施情况,我对学生的课前演讲提出了新的要求:主题由我根据所学内容或生活实际和学生一起商定;演讲时间控制在两分钟左右;可以用PPT,但图片数量控制在五张左右;让学生在演讲前两天把演讲稿和PPT的电子版本的材料给我,我帮助他们进行修改,以确保演讲内容的准确性;演讲时必须脱稿。通过一周的实践,我发现学生演讲的内容和形式都比较规范了,但是有些基础较差的学生还是在演讲材料的准备上存在一定困难,演讲时信心不足。

一、初想

对于英语作为第二语言的中国孩子而言,能够说上一口流利的英语、能够顺畅地和老外交流、能够远渡重洋到外面的世界看看、听懂英语会说英语都是梦寐以求的事情,因为时代在发展,社会在进步,人们有越来越多的机会接触外面的世界,在英语的世界与人打交道。但是对于一个几乎足不出户的高中生来说,那些又似乎是奢求,那么如何锻炼我们学生的英语口才呢?光靠课上回答老师的几个问题是不现实的,因为45分钟也只有少数的学生登台亮相;光靠提倡阅读也不够,一周两三个早读也远远解决不了问题,还要有时间和平台让学生动嘴去讲,于是我们的英语教师在行动,他们用课前5分钟的英语演讲来实现动嘴,从而提高学生英语口语。

二、初探

口语表达能力作为学生综合能力的重要组成部分并未在高中英语课堂中得以重视,师生往往注重词汇基础知识、阅读理解能力和书面表达能力的训练与提升。而作为听、说、读、写这些学生必备的基本能力的口语表达能力往往对于其他能力的提升具有促进和推动作用,它们是相辅相成、相互促进的,口语表达流利了也能提升学生语言学习的信心和兴趣。因此,我尝试启动推行课前5分钟的演讲活动,旨在培养学生的口语表达能力和学习语言的兴趣。

万事开头难。对于这一新的表现形式,学生有较强的表现欲望和互相交流的热情,但由于缺乏相关的实战演练而让学生望而却步,有的学生胆小怯场、有的学生口齿不行、有的学生功底浅薄,这些都给学生带来挑战。我就着手鼓励学生,不断给予信心和力量,让他们自主选择演讲话题,采取小组合作互动,发挥集体智慧把活动开展起来。从台下准备到登台演讲学生都是情绪高涨,人人参与,小组表演后才发现学生都很有才,选择的话题具有时代气息和教育意义,很有创造力,也很有表演天赋。尽管在表达过程中还存在词汇、语法等错误,但学生从合作中收获了很多,最重要的是在准备的过程感受到了学习英语的乐趣,学会了合作、分享、竞争和公平。

尝试到成功的喜悦后,可以说学生参与的积极性空前高涨,我就引导学生把这种热情转化到语言学习中来,通过演讲这种形式更好地服务于教学。我结合牛津高中英语课本剧《Home alone》,要求各个小组成员各司其职,每人都要扮演一定的角色,取得了很大的收获和成功。

兴趣是最好的老师,成功是最大的激励,学生在合作中得到了成功和成长,也学会了独立自主,学生独立演讲的能力基本具备,我们自然过渡到了个人单独演讲的环节。学生演讲时明显从容,信心大涨,演讲的效果也随之变好,大家都很珍惜这样的一次机会,从选取演讲题材、制作辅助表演的PPT或者超链接、演前的试讲等环节都投入了一定的热情和时间,也真正体会到了“台上一分钟,台下十年功”的内涵。通过不断的演练,学生处处洋溢着自信和阳光,对语言学习产生了不可估量的推动作用。

学生是最具有创造力的。随着演讲活动的推进,涉及的话题得到了极大的丰富,从运动到美食、从电影到电视剧、从动物到植物、从动漫到电玩,上至天文下至地理,这些话题拓宽了学生的视野,丰富了主题阅读的内容,对阅读也产生了良好的作用。我稍加整理了演讲的话题,便于学生积累和提高。

1.当季明星:有韩国的当红明星朴信惠(Park Shin Hye)、李钟硕(Lee Jong Suk)或者人气组合(A Pink),有加拿大的歌星贾斯汀·比伯(Justin Bieber),有美国创作型男歌手布鲁诺·马尔斯(Bruno Mars)。也有中国香港著名歌星演员的陈奕迅(Eason Chan)、邓紫棋(G.E.M),和内地的吴亦凡(Kris)、还有美国的职业篮球明星勒布朗·詹姆斯(LeBron James)等,此话题看出每个人心中都有偶像,也都有一颗想成为明星的心!

2.电影电视:有介绍好莱坞大片《蚁人》(ANTMAN),主人公为保护蚁人战服采用惊天骗局拯救世界的正邪之战;有《变形金刚4绝迹重生》(Transformers: Age of Extinction),欣赏汽车人以及霸天虎、擎天柱、威震天、大黄蜂等自由与奴役的邪战;有真人动画电影《帕丁顿熊》(Paddington),一起感受那只秘鲁小熊迷失后的伦敦奇幻之旅,此话题看出学生对好莱坞大片情有独钟,喜欢高大上的电影制作,当然,也有学习“压力山大”下极其渴望轻松与愉悦的表露!

3.动漫书籍:《海绵宝宝》(SpongeBob),无论是派大星还是蟹老板,都能够博得一笑;《海贼王》(ONE PIECE)跟随主人公路飞立志成为海盗王为了寻找传说中的秘宝ONE PIECE而展开的凶险无比同时也波澜壮阔的冒险故事;《哆来A梦》(Doraemon)认识一只来自未来世界的猫型机器人,用自己神奇的百宝袋和各种奇妙的道具帮助主人公大雄解决各种困难的故事;有介绍阅读书目的,如《一个人的朝圣》(The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry),一起感受爱的回归和人生信念;又如《追风筝的人》(The Kite Runner)一起回味每人心中的那只代表着正直、善良、忠诚的风筝,还有那人生中必须面对的一次次心灵的救赎。此类话题看出学生都还有一颗童心,天真纯洁,扬善惩恶,看动漫或读书也是现代社会压力大的境况下寻求一种释放和解脱。

4.心灵鸡汤:有谈成功(success)的要素,有说微笑(smile)的功效,有聊自信(confidence)的表现,有对未来的展望(We are the world, we are the future)。总的来说,学生还是很阳光、很乐观、很上进的,都想为梦想而战,有都希望通过自己的努力开创属于自己的那片天空,当然在成长过程中会遇到困难、阻碍,也会茫然、不知所措,那么学生非常渴望心灵的定期滋养,能够经常被表扬、被鼓励、被启迪,那么我们教师就有责任和义务共同做好学生心灵的调养师,答疑解惑,指引前行。

5.自我介绍:有介绍自己的(self-introduction),从喜好到习惯、从学习到生活、从家庭到社会,让我们从精心准备的自我介绍中加深了彼此的了解。也有介绍家乡的,如三星叠石桥家纺城(Samsung stacked stone bridge)也在学生的介绍之列,从不太流利的介绍中看出的是对家乡的款款深情,对自己的家乡充满着自豪感。一个人只有爱自己、爱家,才能爱国,怀有崇高的国家和民族情感,在物欲横流的社会拥有这样的品质是多么可贵,我们当仁不让要大加提倡,极力推荐!

三、初感

要把阅读素材转化为演讲的材料并实现口语的输出对不同层次的学生带来异样的挑战。语言功底好的同学转化就比较顺利,基础薄弱的同学就感觉有点吃力。对于学生而言,从演讲前的准备、到演讲中的表现、到演讲后的感悟收获都是在不断学习之中。对于教师而言,要与时俱进就得“活到老学到老”,从学生的演讲中我们可以学到很多的东西,也可以从另一个侧面更好地了解学生的兴趣爱好,了解他们的心理需求,可以更好的有共同交流的话题,实现教学相长。

学生喜欢演讲的另一个原因是没有固定模式没有条条框框,可以自由发挥自己的主观能动性,选自己所想,讲自己所爱。但在演讲结束后,我们教师要适时的点评,起到重要的和必要的引导作用。因为放开话题不代表放任自流,总有一些话题不那么合适,总有一些话题不那么严肃,也总有一些话题偏离主干道,这就要求我们做好领航人,让学生在正确的价值引领之下,拥有积极向上的世界观、人生观。

学生的演讲稿有网络上拷贝的,也有自己精心组织撰写的,不管从哪里来,呈现在我们面前的时候总有这样那样的错误,不可能是十分完美的。如果选择跳跃忽略这些错误也未尝不可,但是我个人还是觉得要抓住这样的一个共同学习纠错的时间,让大家带着问题去倾听演讲,去发现演讲过程中出现的种种错误,然后尝试着去修改错误,那么这样的一个过程本身就是学习进步的过程。学生的遣词造句能力得到了提高,学生的语言运用能力得到了实践,学生的自我纠错意识得到了加强,何乐而不为?

四、初悟

训练学生口才的方法很多:勤说勤练、多听多看多模仿、多读书多积累,让他们随自己兴趣爱好去说也算是顺其自然,让学生有专业的引领也很重要。要提高演讲的技能,那么尽可能多得让学生去阅读演讲与口才方面的书本或者杂志也是必须的,因为那里有理念的指引、专业的引导。

do you often use batteries? then do you know it takes 50 times more energy to make them than they produce? and just one simple battery can pollute as much water as a person can drink in his whole life. the facts and figures are amazing. so would you please try to use batteries only when it is necessary? if possible, give the used ones to the recycling companies so that they will be made into new ones and won’t be able to pollute the environment any more. sometimes we become complacent when it comes to recycling, but when you speak in terms of actual facts and figures that everybody can understand, people become much clearer about the problem.

Another frightening data from the UN in , there are almost 8.4 million people around the world who die of cancers caused by environmental issues every year. It is so horrible, isn’t it? Man has taken too much from nature, also paid such a heavy price for it. If we don’t try to change these situations, what will happen one or two centuries later?

But, fortunately, the majority throughout the world are aware of the significance of environmental protection. Much many individuals, environmentalists and organizations have taken actions spontaneously. Companies donate part of their profits to support some green projects. Moreover, Government has carried out many policies to conserve endangered species, support green industries and encourage people to live a green life. From a global perspective, though it is a long journey to make the Earth recovered and to live in harmony with it, I do believe that, with everyone’s efforts, we will finally get there.

英语学科核心素养是学生在接受相应学段英语课程教育的过程中,逐步形成和提升的适应个人终身发展和社会发展需要的必备品格和关键能力,综合表现为四大素养,由语言能力、文化品格、思维品质和学习能力组成。就其关系而言,语言能力是基础要素,文化品格是价值取向,思维品质是心智表征,学习能力是发展条件。英语学科核心素养涵盖了知识、能力和态度,四大核心素养相互渗透,融合互动,协调发展,是所有学生应具有的、学以致用的基础性综合素养。

为了更好提高落实新课标,提高学生的核心素养,我结合核心素养的四个方面谈一下自己的体会和建议。

一、探究课程内容,提升语言能力

语言能力是指在社会情境中,以听、说、读、看、写等方式理解和表达意义、意图和情感态度的能力。英语语言能力构成英语学科核心素养的基础,是学生发展文化品格、思维品质和学习能力的依托。英语语言能力的提高有助于学生拓宽文化视野,丰富思维方式,在全球化背景下开展跨文化交流。

教师要深入研读语,把握教学核心内容。研读语就是读者对语的主题、内容、文体结构、语言特点、作者观点等做深入的解读。教师要积极研究如何在教学中落实培养学生学科核心素养的目标,探索有效的教与学的方式,努力实践以主题意义为引领的英语学习活动观,实施深度教学。教师必须深入研究课程内容,提炼重点,设计有效的教学活动,通过听说读写训练,提高学生的语言能力。

二、发掘优秀文化思想,培养文化品格

文化品格是指对中外文化的理解和对优秀文化的认同,是学生在全球化背景下表现出的文化意识、人文修养和行为取向。文化品格体现英语学科核心素养的价值取向。文化品格的培育有助于学生树立世界眼光,增强国家认同感和家国情怀,学会做人做事,成长为有文化修养和社会责任感的人。

落实立德树人根本任务,培养学生英语学科核心素养。教师应当充分把握教材的编写理念、设计思路应突出英语学科的育人价值,有机融入社会主义核心价值观,将立德树人的根本任务落到实处。要紧密围绕、依据学科核心素养来确立教材内容,无论是语和主题的选择还是相应的教学活动设计,都要体现对学科核心素养的培养价值,有利于学生发展语言能力,形成良好的文化品格和思维品质,学会学习,树立正确的价值观和审美观,提高学生的文化品格。

三、创设丰富多彩活动,促进思维品质升华

思维品质指人的思维个性特征,反映其在思维的逻辑性、批判性、创造性等方面所表现的能力和水平。思维品质体现英语学科核心素养的心智发展。思维品质的发展有助于提升学生分析问题和解决问题的能力,从跨文化的视角观察和认识世界,对事物作出正确的价值判断,促进学生的深度学习。

具体而言,学习理解类活动主要指基于语的学习活动。以解决问题为目的,鼓励学生从语中获得新知,通过梳理、概括、整合信息,建立信息间的关联,形成新的知识结构,感知并理解语言所表达的意义和语所承载的文化价值取向。迁移创新类活动主要指超越语的学习活动。通过自主、合作、探究的学习方式,综合运用语言技能,进行多元思维,创造性地解决陌生情境中的问题。英语学习活动的设计应注意。情境创设要尽量真实,注意与学生已有的知识和经验建立紧密联系,力求直接、简洁、有效。教师要善于利用多种工具和手段,思维导图或信息结构图,引导学生通过自主与合作相结合的方式,完成对信息的获取与梳理、概括与整合、内化与运用,教会学生在零散的.信息和新旧知识之间建立关联,归纳和提炼基于主题的新知识结构。

四、分组合作教学,培养学习能力

学习能力指学生积极运用和主动调适英语学习策略、拓宽英语学习渠道、努力提升英语学习效率的意识和能力。学习能力构成英语学科核心素养发展的必要条件。学习能力的形成有助于学生做好英语学习的自我管理,养成良好的学习习惯,拓宽学习渠道,提高学习效率。

我校的课改:问题引领,学案导学,其实在学习能力的培养方面已经具有了相对成熟的经验。为培养学生自主、合作、探究的学习能力,教师要为学生创设支持和激励的学习环境。在教学中,教师要有意识地给予指导;课中组织小组合作学习与探究活动;课后布置适量的拓展性作业。此外,教师要在教学中帮助学生学会选择适合自己的学习方法和策略,主动参与学习活动并尝试自我评价和同伴互评,养成自我反思的习惯,在体验自主学习、合作学习和探究式学习的过程中学会学习。教师要在教学过程中帮助学生形成适合自己的学习方法和策略。教师也可以引导学生交流学习方法和策略,互帮互学。教师要引导学生养成自我反思的习惯,反思自己的学习兴趣和动机、学习方法和策略、语言能力现状和发展进程,帮助学生不断发展自主学习能力,成为有责任担当的学习者。

不知不觉已经上九年级了,以前,几乎每个节日我们都会有自己的庆祝方式。唯独教师节,被老师和同学们淡忘了。因为老师每天都要忙碌工作,根本不会在意何时是自己的节日。即使有有心的同学想出一些方法来报答老师,但也可能会遭到老师的婉拒。那么今年,就让我们用自己的方式来报答老师的恩情吧。

老师,是我们成长的引路人,他们用自己的方式教育着我们,关心着我们。在你伤心时,他们会耐心询问,柔声安慰;在你犯错时,他们会轻声呵斥,认真引导;在你取得进步时,他们会为你高兴,但仍会教你谦逊,鼓励你前行……

或许有时,他们的教育伴随着唠叨,但谁又能肯定地说唠叨就不是一种爱呢?要记住:忠言逆耳利于行。不是出于对我们的责任和关爱,他们有谁愿意为了小事白费口舌呢?

有的同学或许会因为老师训斥自己就顶撞老师,是,谁被批评心里都不好受。但换位想想,老师们和我们一样,也是人。他们也会感到委屈,也会抱怨生活不公,但他们从不会把脾气牵扯到我们身上,纵然有再多心事,到了课堂上,他们都会拿出自己最好的水平,全身心地投入到课堂里。这又何尝不是对我们的一种爱呢?

Matt thought about this for a while. He knew he would have to spend money at the fair. At last he said, “All right, but I’m not going to spend much money. We’ll look at things, but we won’t buy anything. ”

They went to the fair and looked at all the things to buy. There were many things Matt’s wife wanted to buy, but he would not let her spend any money.

Then, in a nearby field, they saw a small airplane.

“Fun flights!” the notice said, “ $$ 10 for 10 minutes.

Matt had never been in an airplane and he wanted to go on a fun flight. However, he didn’t want to have to pay for his wife, as well.

”I’ve only got $$ 10, “ he told the pilot. ”Can my wife come with me for free?“ The pilot wasn’t selling many tickets, so he said, ”I’ll make a bargain with you. If your wife doesn’t scream or shout, she can have a free flight.“

Matt agreed, and got into the small airplane with his wife.

The pilot took off and made his airplane do all kinds of things. At one moment it was flying upside down.

When the plane landed, the pilot said, ”0. K. your wife didn’t make a sound. She can have her ride free.“

人人皆知:树木能吸收二氧化碳,排放氧气,净化空气,是我们人类生存的必要的条件。但是有一些人为了金钱去乱砍滥伐树木,造成了过度的水土流失,使大地的植被受到严重的破坏,绿洲和城市也荒漠化,我们人类的生存受到了威胁。就我们平时用的一次性筷子,每天都要耗费数十亩的森林,在那些人眼中,树木除了可以做家具和建筑材料外,似乎没有任何价值。难道还有人不懂树木对我们意味着什么吗我们居住面积已经很小了,如果再这样下去,可能连我们唯一的土地都失去。还有,我们的母亲河——黄河近年来河床和含沙量不断增高,成为全国污染最严重的几条江河之一。我们不能眼睁睁地看着黄河从我们手中枯竭,因而有许多环境学者纷纷研究治理黄河污染的方案,试图改善黄河的水质。但如果没有我们的共同参与,我们这个生命的摇篮——黄河将会走向衰竭和死亡。

如果我们再肆无忌惮地破坏环境,大自然将会给予我们惩罚。那些特大的洪水剥夺了不知多少人的性命,还有由于温室效应,南极北极的冰川融化导致水平面升高,海水淹没了沿海地区,经济损失惨重。难道这不是最好的证明吗

我的家乡广宁是靠竹海生态旅游来发展经济的,而今,某些竹林的环境恶乱不堪,让人叫苦不迭。竹海生态游是我们广宁发展的根,如果根被破坏了,怎能长出茂盛的枝叶、开出美丽的花儿呢

让我们善待人类、善待自然吧!不知大家是否看过《保护环境可做的100件事》这篇文章。其实,我们能做的事很多很多。如,在植树节栽一盆花、种一棵树;保护野生动物,是生态得到平衡;珍惜水资源,不要向江河倾倒垃圾;当环保小卫士,利用每个绿色纪念日宣传环保意识,让青山常在、绿水长流、泥土永芬芳……这都是我们力所能及的事情,我们为何不愿意实践呢?
